Albizia julibrissin rosea

-

With deciduous, bipinnate leaves and fluffy, rose-pink flower heads, it’s the prominent stamens that give rise to its common name, the pink silk tree. It has quite a broad crown, but grows to only 4-8m (13-26ft). Prefers a sheltered south or west-facing site, well-drained flowers and full sun. Saplings take about three years to flower.
