Q Is it true that New Horizon po ing compost is no longer sold and only old stock is available?

A New Horizon is a wellestablished, peatfree potting compost and is still available. The company which produced it, William Sinclair, was bought by the Irish company Westland Horticulture. It’s still widely available.
Unfortunately, potting composts don’t generally have a ‘sell by’ date. Check that the packaging appears fresh. It’s still likely to be recent stock at this time of year. Bags with faded lettering on them, or those that appear to be saturated, are best avoided.
