TV mogul Simon Cowell to take on Chelsea?
The RHS is currently in discussions with Simon Cowell, pop music guru and the man behind The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, to create a film about the Chelsea Flower Show, the charity has confirmed.
Media sources have reported that the film about the premier horticultural event is envisioned as ‘a light-hearted, feel-good comedy set in the gardening world, focusing on the Chelsea Flower Show’, also intimating a director is already on board, with filming scheduled to start in summer.
To cope with stress, the TV mogul has apparently taken up the trowel, tending gardens at his Los Angeles and London homes. He is also reported to have been checking up about begonia culture on the internet and has a particular penchant for roses!
