Coming soon from Dalefoot is a new premium bulb compost, developed with lily growers H.W. Hyde & Son, adding to its current range of seven composts. Launching at the Chelsea Flower Show this year, this premium compost has grown ‘gold medal’ bulbs at the show. It’s the perfect blend of free-draining compost with natural, must-have nutrients and trace elements, to grow dazzling flowers and feed the bulb to restore its reserves for the following year. It’s made with bracken from the Cumbrian fells for an open structure. Celebrating its 21st year, Dalefoot Composts is a family-run business producing an exciting range of peat-free composts using only the natural resources of wool and bracken sourced from the beautiful Lake District.
