Maintain and repair garden furniture

To keep garden furniture in good condition it pays to check it over and carry out a li le maintenance so, come spring, it’s ready to use. All garden furniture will benefit from a wash down to remove winter dirt and grime. If you intend to paint or oil wooden furniture, give it a good sand down first and apply the treatment on a dry, sunny day. Metal furniture can be touched up if needed with a suitable metal paint. It’s also worth checking and tightening screws and bolts to make sure tables and chairs are secure and not wobbly.
