Repot pelargoniums

-

Pelargoniums being over-wintered in a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory should now be starting to show signs of new growth as the days lengthen. If they’re in small pots and in need of potting into a slightly larger one, now’s a good time to do it. To encourage a fibrous root system, only use a pot that’s an inch or two larger than the original. Knock the old plant out of the pot, scrape off the top of the old compost and re-pot, using a good quality potting compost with some added slow-release fertiliser.
