Over time, hinges and handles will rust and become unsightly. However they're cheap and easy to replace and can make a huge difference to the aesthetics of your shed, especially if you choose some ironmongery in a contrasting colour.
If you’d prefer to use your shed as more of a summerhouse, why not string up some fairy lights inside – and outside – as well as adding some curtains, a seating area with cushions and bunting for a bit of cosy charm. Complete it with a mini fridge for chilled drinks and a fan heater and you can use it all year round!
