Old bench rejuvenated

This afternoon I was reading about painting old garden furniture in the latest edition of GN and thought you may be interested in the garden bench in our back garden. It's around 50 years old and because it was looking sad for itself, I decided to give it a makeover. I removed various pieces of rotted panels, including one of the legs, then gradually replaced them, and in this present environment I’ve painted it NHS blue! My wife and I regularly use it, plus the family when they can visit. Chris Cole, East Sussex
