Mist humidity-lovers

-

AS TEMPERATURES warm up, start misting any plants that like high humidity. Keep a supply of water at room temperature in a mister and spray the leaves regularly – daily isn’t too often. Rainwater is best if your tap water leaves limescale marks on the foliage. Keeping the humidity high will also deter red spider mites from settling in, and plants sprayed regularly will need less watering overall. However, never mist succulents, cacti and any plants with hairy leaves, as these tend to rot in humid conditions.
