Q What happened to my daffodils?

A BOB SAYS From the size and shape of the holes, you appear to have two or three pests eating the flowers, probably slugs and snails, possibly birds, perhaps vine weevils or maybe even woodlice. Check them at night, and have a clear up, particular­ly under the pots and ornaments in the background of your photo.
