Adjust your watering

-

PLANTS IN the greenhouse need different amounts of water. A new seedling in a pot will need less water than one that has more leaves and lots of roots. In general, the faster a plant is growing, and the more total leaf surface it has, the more water it needs. Plants in flower slow down and need a little less. There are exceptions – for example, plants with hairy leaves or thick succulent leaves need less and are good at storing water. Group similar plants together in the greenhouse to make watering more straight forward.
