I’ve just read your magazine for the first time. The article ‘Our pick of garden trugs’ (‘Clippings’, April issue) reminded me of a cake I made a couple of years ago. I used sugar paste left over from another cake I’d made – everything is edible. I entered it into a competitio­n and was thrilled to win a gold medal! Megan Davis, by email
