Control blackfly on broad beans

-

Blackfly infestation on broad beans is inevitable at this time of the year as they tend to colonise the new soft, sweet tissue on the shoots at the top of the plants. The best way to stop these pests from getting a hold is to pinch out the tips of every plant as soon as you spot them. All the pods full of beans are set lower down on the plants, so you’ll be able to look forward to a clean harvest later in the year.
