These replenish themselves with vigour as long as you harvest regularly. You can also eat the flowers, which are delicious raw or dipped in batter and fried. My second batch of courgettes, sown in June, crop into autumn. But like all the cucurbit family, they are tender, so enjoy them before the onset of cold weather.
