Replace summer bedding plants
Tender bedding plants won’t survive frost, so refresh your pots and borders now by pulling them out and replacing with hardy plants that will flower this winter and spring. Try pansies, polyanthus and wallflowers, and add a few ferns and small shrubs like heather or euonymus. Plant tulips between them for extra spring colour.
