Clear away hanging baskets

Gardeners' World - - What To Do Now -

As this summer’s hanging basket displays start to fade, it’s best to take them down. If they contain any hardy perennials, these can be replanted elsewhere in the garden, while bedding plants and the old compost can go in the compost bin. Brush out any debris from the basket, then wash with detergent to remove all pests. Either store the basket for next year or replant it with a winter display.
