Plant bulbs indoors now to force for winter. Hippeastrum (amaryllis) take around 10 weeks to flower. Paper-white daffodils and hyacinths need both a cool and warm period of several weeks to flower quickly. Plant in multi-purpose compost and keep moist but not soaking wet.
