QQQThe first thing to do is sort out the tools and materials you will need. Remember, with a lot of the tools, they will be useful for other works, or you may be able to borrow or hire equipment. As for the materials, working out how many bricks you will need requires a little maths! You’ll need to measure the size of the terrace you’re making, and then take measurements of the bricks you are going to use. Round up the number of bricks to allow for mishaps.
