How can I get my calla lily to flower?

-

Mary Newland, Oxfordshire

AJAMES SAYS When growing calla lilies in pots, there are three things they need in order to flower well. First, they require light, so place your plant in a bright spot. Second, they love generous feeding throughout the growing season. And finally, in contrast to many other South African natives, root-bound plants can be more reluctant to flower, so regularly re-pot your calla lily each spring, so it always has plenty of room.

If your calla lily has leaves but no flowers, give it tomato feed regularly
