Plant Her­itage has awarded Na­tional Plant Col­lec­tion sta­tus to seven new plant col­lec­tions. The new hold­ers are: Anne Mil­ner for John D Taylor’s dwarf irises; Bow­dens, which holds a du­pli­cate of the Fulchers’ Aga­pan­thus col­lec­tion; Hoy­land Plant Cen­tre for Clivia species; My­d­del­ton House Gar­den for Rus­cus; Meg­ginch Cas­tle for both Scot­tish cider ap­ples and Scot­tish her­itage ap­ples and pears; and the Ny­mans Col­lec­tion, which fo­cuses on plants bred at, or named af­ter Ny­mans or peo­ple con­nected to the gar­den. plan­ther­itage.com
