To keep them performing prune hard in the spring, feed with good, rich compost and protect against capsid bugs. The flowers are a pretty vignette of white sepals, an amethyst corolla with a fuchsiapink tube and ovary. Blooms are produced at the tips of the new shoots so are easily reached by pollinating birds and insects.
