To me, it’s the same thing be­cause I’ve writ­ten ev­ery one of my films, I’ve writ­ten ev­ery one of my books, I’ve writ­ten ev­ery one of my spo­ken­word shows. I would never make a movie I didn’t write, I don’t ever read scripts and I’d have no idea how to do it be­cause, for me, think­ing up ev­ery­thing is the fun part of it. Mak­ing a movie is ba­si­cally a sci­ence project where the idea, the di­a­logue and the char­ac­ters are the most im­por­tant thing.
