-

Scottish gin brand Porter’s has launched in its 11th export market as its products went on sale in America.

Working with New York City-based import and distribution partner, Domaine Select Wine and Spirits, the company will bring its Modern Classic and Tropical Old Tom gins to the on-trade and off-trade markets in the US.

The founders of Porter’s, Ben Iravani, Alex Lawrence and Josh Rennie, began making gin after turning the basement of their bar

Ben said: “The USA is an important global market that we’ve been working towards for a very long time. We’re looking forward to growing our business here with some of the world’s leading cocktail bars and bartenders. We’re really pleased to be working with Domaine Select and are hopeful that this is the start of a successful long-term partnership.”

Hill Flynn, president at Domaine Select Wines and Spirits, added: “The Porter’s Gin products are truly a pair of game-changing entries in the category.”
