Nose: Oh my, I like this already. Think dark forest gateau-style rich fruitiness.
Palate: This is punchy and rich from the off. The dark fruits are holding their own, with strong raspberry and blackberry tang to complement the juniper. There’s something a little contradictory here… fennel maybe? I wasn’t expecting it but I’m not mad about it either.
Finish: Far gentler than I was expecting, fruity and lingering.
Comments: This is a bit of a party in a bottle.
I’d like to make it last a while in a gin and tonic.

Nose: Rich and juicy with an array of hedgerow fruit: blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry.
Palate: Blackberry jam with lemon and a touch of raspberry ripple ice cream. A splash of juniper is followed by rich, creamy vanilla and notes of crystallised violets.
Finish: Delicate and perfumed on the finish with notes of hibiscus and rose and a minimal alcohol warmth.
Comments: A fun and fruity gin that would be delightful in a Bramble or mixed with lemon tonic for a crisp, refreshing long drink.
