Ladies it will be a great fun evening to let your Inner Goddess have a night out working out with some burlesque and strictly dance routines including The Charleston and American Smooth but if you don’t want to dance come along for a girly chat and social evening.

Laleston WI: Our 7 July meeting was taken by President Dawn Storie, who welcomed everyone. The minutes of previous meeting were read and agreed.

All members who attended the Mid-Summer Dinner and Musical Evening on 28 June at The Orangery, Margam, agreed it was a superb evening with a chance to ‘dress up’. The 200 (approx) lovely WI ladies enjoyed an excellent meal and fantastic entertainment.

The trips to Tyntesfield House and Picton Castle in August are eagerly anticipated.

Guest speaker Deborah John with her monologue ‘The Edwardian Maid’ gave us all an amusing insight into ‘the big house’ and everyone looks forward to her next instalment. A vote of thanks was given by Ann Rees.

LALESTON WI will be holding an ‘AFTERNOON TEA’ in Blandy Hall, 2-4pm on 6 August. Raffle and Tombola. All welcome. Entry by ticket, please contact number below for further details.
