Pontycymer RFC: Preseason rugby training is already underway for the coming 2016/17 season.

Training sessions are held evey Tuesday and Thursday evening at Lawrence Park, Pontycymer.

Start time is at 6pm and all welcome.

Blaengarw Cricket Club: On Saturday 6th,August Blaengarw Cricket Club will welcome Undy and Magor Cricket Club to Darren Park fir a start time of 1pm.

The ever popular ‘CAN BAR ‘will be open all afternoon, serving ice cold refreshments.

Everybody very welcome to attend.

Garw Valley Wanderers Women’s RFC: It’s becoming a regular occurrence, the last few seasons women’s rugby teams have started up, and are doing well in their respected towns and valleys.

So the Garw Valley Wanderers RFC have already started the wheels in motion for the coming 2016/17 season.

Training is going very well with high numbers attending with three preseason friendlies already lined up for August.

The first is at home on August 6 at Blaengarw Recreation Ground.

If any women are interested in joining, the training sessions are held on Mondays from 5pm-7pm, and on Wednesdays 5pm6.30pm at Blaengarw Recreation Ground.
