Bont and Barry play out a real no-goal bore

But his well-struck effort clipped the base of a post, and with it went any chance of Bont collecting all three points.

And with their League Cup aspirations already at an end, Bont aren’t involved in this week’s second round ties.

They now take a trip into the unknown this Saturday at newly-promoted Undy Athletic, who along with Haverfordwest County and Caldicot, are the only pointless Division One clubs.

The only time the clubs have met was two seasons ago when Undy triumphed 1-0 in the League Cup at the Kymco Stadium.
