HALLOWEEN CRAFT: Join Bridgend communitie­s First for a spooky craft time! At Ynysawdre Community Centre on Wednesday, October 26 from 10am-12pm and again at St Brides Memorial Hall, Bryncethin Thursday October 27 from 10am12pm. Carve your own pumpkin, create Halloween sun catchers, try our creepy cookery and make a Halloween fancy dress costume! Please note, all children to be accompanie­d by an adult. REIKI HEALING: Reiki healing is offered each Tuesday from 6-7.30pm at the Ynysawdre Community Centre (at the junction of Bryn Road and Heol-yr-Ysgol). ABERKENFIG SPIRITUALI­ST: Flower arranging today (Thursday) at 10.30am and an Open Circle at 7pm, Divine Service on Sunday at 6pm with Kay and Gayle. Monday at 7pm, Healing. Flower Arranging Thursday morning at 10.30 and Open Circle at 7pm.

SMYRNA PENYFAI: The Sunday school would like to invite the children of the surroundin­g area who are aged 4 and over to join them on Sunday morning between 10.30am and 12noon for stories, singing and fun with arts and craft work. The October 9 Sunday service is held at 6pm and will be led by the Rev Richard Roberts. All are very welcome to the service and to join us for refreshmen­ts in the vestry afterwards.

Coffee morning is held on Tuesday between 10am and 12noon with good company and a raffle is also held in aid of local charities.
