DARTS LEAGUE

-

IT WAS back to league action after last week’s pairs knockout and with the Wicked Lady B not in action, the Red Dragon had a chance to close the gap at the top of division one as they played host to the Cabo B.

5-0 up after the threes and pairs, a 109 out from Stefan Coombes helped the Dragon take six of the seven singles for a 11-1 victory which keeps them in second place, nine points behind top spot. Chris Hyde got the Cabo’s only point, sending Tony Roberts to the infamous 6-1 club.

180s from Mark Davies and Rory O’Brian for the Wicked Lady A saw them keep the pressure on second spot as they beat the GWR A 8-4 which puts them just six points behind the Dragon with a game in hand.

The all-division one clash saw the Social and the Jolliers battle out a 6-6 draw while another all-division one game between the Caeffatri and the Colliers ended with the coalmen coming out on top 8-4.

A 180 from Gary Hodgkinson helped the Cabo Kings to a 10-2 success over West House.

The BUSC B were made to battle all the way in their 7-5 victory over division two leaders the Five Bells.

Despite this defeat, the Bells still hold a healthy 12-point lead as second placed GWR B failed to make up any ground as they lost to the White Horse 7-5.

The final game saw the BUSC A record a second win as they beat the Coach Drivers 7-5.

It was success for the Railway Club at the Cabo Roche with a 6-3 win.

At Pencoed Rugby Club, it was only the second loss of the season for them.

West House were the away team and were on form taking four singles and two pairs for the 6-3 win.

The Two Brewers were away to the White Horse and had success in the singles, taking four games followed by two pairs for a 6-3 win.

Pencoed Social Bs were on form at the club where they were against the Five Bells. Following two recent good wins for the Bells, it was a change of fortune when Pencoed Social had a convincing 7-2 win.

The club’s sister teams Pencoed Social A and the Socialites had byes this week.
