Donation to scouts

THE Rotary Club of Maesteg has made a donation to the 3rd Maesteg Scout group.

The money will be divided between the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.

Club president Gwynfor Phillips presented the cheque to Scout leader Alex Emery-Smith at the Cross Inn, Maesteg.

The Rotary club of Maesteg has been in existence for 73 years, but is in danger of folding due to lack of membership so would like to make an appeal for likeminded people who enjoy charity work to contact Talfyn Harries on 01656 711078 or Gwynfor Phillips on 01656 736102.
