Easter Fair: This year’s Fair will be held at Green Hall on Wednesday, April 12, from 11am2pm. Entry is free and there will be stalls, face painting, crafts, therapies, cakes, baked goods, refreshmen­ts, raffle and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Enquiries Mandy Baldwin 07917 097 975.

Legion Sports & Social Club: A Curry & Pint Evening will be held every Wednesday commencing April 5 at a very reasonable cost of £5.95

The club opens at 7pm and you are invited to go along and try a game of pool, darts or have a go on their full-size snooker table, there is also Sky TV and a juke box.

This is offered to both members and non members.

Bridgend Young Farmers: Congratula­tions to two young residents of the village, Iwan Llewellyn and Zac Hansford Laws, who were among the youngest competitor­s at the recent Young Farmers Spelling Bee, held at Pendoylan Primary School in the 10-16 age group. They achieved a magnificen­t joint 2nd place. Well done both.
