PETER Ashman took last week’s Senior Stableford event at Coed-y-Mwstwr, scoring 39 points.

Having last mounted the victory rostrum back in September in lifting the Seniors Autumn Plate, a three on the third hole allied to scoring on every hole set up his latest success.

Colin Edwards collected a hatful of points in securing runner-up honours on 38 points while Richard T Commander was once more in commanding form.

Third-placed Commander also signed for 38 points courtesy of a two on hole two and eight pars.

Jonny McEachen carded 37 points for fourth spot while two-time recent winner Jimmy Blackball almost potted another victory.

This time on cue Blackball framed 37 points, as did William M Jones, with Mark Raybould and Dave Evans both hitting 35 points.
