COED-Y-MWSTWR golf club has appointed a new chef, Carla Ryan.

Carla has already been wowing members with her wonderful home cooking and will further develop catering provisions at the club over the coming months

A planned extension to the clubhouse is also in the pipeline. There are plans to extend both ladies and gents changing facilities, create a larger bespoke kitchen and create more space in the lounge. This along with a general revamp of the interior will enable the club to improve its visitor experience. The proposed development will enable the club to cater for a variety of functions.

Already a popular venue for societies, the club is launching its membership and society drive with the Gazette.

With a regular competition of 100 on Saturdays and 60+ in its senior section, the club is keen to attract new golfers to the game as well as attracting established players looking to come back to the game or seeking a change.

The club has links with Hensol Golf Academy for lessons and equipment and hopes to get a resident professional on site soon. There are lots of exciting developments at this relatively young club and chairman Layton Bennetta is keen to continue to drive innovative ideas.

There are discounted fees for the under 30’s and a range of membership categories to suit all.
