The Blaenogwr Pub: After last year’s great success of the Mini Fest it’s coming back again this year and will be better than last year. Preparations are well on the way and it’s going to be over two days which are Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th August. Here are just some of the groups that are appearing, The Cuddly Toys, Murphy’s Boat, Contraband, Slightly Dazed, Monkey See Monkey Do, Fair Warning Wales and lots more…. Tickets are now on sale at the Blaenogwr so get yours now before they sell-out.
The Wyndham Pub: Why not join them on a Tuesday night for poker tonight. This will be every week and starts at 8:00pm. Also, don’t forget our charity fundraising fun day for Y Bont and local Bridgend Down Syndrome Group. This is going to be held on Saturday 10th June. Every Thursday night 9pm is our Quiz and play ur cards right where you could have a chance to win £100.

Wyndham Boys & Girls Club: This year’s Football Presentation Night will be on Friday May 12th 2017 at the Non-Pol Club Ogmore Vale. Raffle, Disco & Buffet all for the price of £3 Adult £1-50 child. Ticket are now on sale from Paul Uppington or the Boys & Girls Club.
Boxing Club: Why not join the Nantymoel Armature Boxing Club every Monday & Wednesday for a Ladies Boxfit. This is on the following nights from 6pm to 7pm with a charge of £4 each. Boxing club address is Bethania Row, Ogmore Vale but the entrance is at the back on High Street opposite the Non-Pol Club.
Ladies Choir: Ogmore Valley Ladies Choir now have their practice night on Mondays at are Canolfan, Bethlehem, Commercial Street, Ogmore Vale. Starting at 7pm. All are welcome - over 18 years.
Pilates Class: Why not join the Pilates Class every Thursday night at 6:15pm. This is held at Litchard Mission Church, Litchard, Bridgend. These are suitable for beginners and intermediate. Contact Ruth on 07786627335 or email ruth@c2cfitness.co.uk for further details.
Coffee Mornings: Why not go along to Christchurch Chapel Corbett Street, Ogmore Vale on Thursday 27th April. They have a coffee morning with a Cake Stall, Book Stall, China and Clothes Stall’s & not forgetting a Raffle etc. It will be from 9:30am to 10:45am. So why not join them for a coffee and its FREE admission to. All welcome.
Blackmill Over 50s: Blackmill Over 50s’ meet at The Local Community Centre on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, always glad to welcome new members. This is a social gathering and occasionally a trip to the theatre or a meal out is arranged.
Nantymoel Knitters Class: We are members of a Knitting Club who live in Nantymoel. We meet twice a week at Dinam Close every Tuesday and Friday at 10am to Midday. We are always looking for new members and all our efforts are to make things for charity’s. If there is anyone who has any spare wool they do not want, we would be very grateful to receive it.Many thanks from all the knitting club members.
