FROM the outset the Sports were passing fluidly and following quick ball from the first scrum. centre Dan James ran 40 yards to score under the posts for full back Josh Davies to convert.
The Baglan forwards gave away a penalty and Davies extended the lead. When scrum half Scott Callicott took a quick penalty it was Jayce Evans who wriggled over in the corner.side, Josh Davies joined the line at pace and had Lee Roderick in support, but did not need him. As the half ended, Lewis Obard ran 30 yards and Josh Davies and Jayce Evans inter-passed with Evans scoring under the posts for the bonus point try which made it 27-0 at the break.
Baglan started the second half with a fine attack. A forward chipped ahead and there was good support from prop Jack Powell who drove over for a try which center Dan Blethyn converted. When a loose ball went to ground it was speed-merchant Cory Thomas who showed his pace in scoring under the posts. Davies converted. from a five metre scrum Baglan showed some class with a short crash ball to winger Thomas Manchipp who was unstoppable and Dan Blethyn added the conversion. The Sports had a five metre lineout and a concerted drive saw hooker Ryan Wallis score. Baglan kicked off and Dan James chipped ahead, gathered and gave skipper Lloyd Wilson a scoring pass. Davies converted. The Baglan forwards pavd the way for Jack Powell to drive over for a second try that Dan Blethyn converted. However, it was the Sports that had the final say with a very good team try by Lee Roderick.
