THE Lady B opened up a 15 point lead at the top of division one with a ruthless display in their victory over the BUSC B. The war office had a chance to pinch the first threes but missed doubles let them down and a 180 from Ray Johnson in the second leg helped put the away side 2-0 up. The pairs was a one sided affair as the Wicked lads claimed all three legs to go 5-0 in front.

A 180 from Darren Rees in a 17 dart leg and another 180 in a brilliant 11 darter from Ray Johnson ,saw the Lady boys to an 11-1 score line as they dominated the singles. Martin Jones claiming the servicemen­s only point sending Mike Doyle to the 6-1 club.

While the Busc B were getting a darting lesson off the Lady B, the BUSC A did not fare any better as they took on the Wicked Lady A. 5-0 up after the opening exchanges the wicked lads went on to whitewash the old guard as they took all the singles for a 12-0 victory.

There was an all division one clash at the Caeffatri as they took on the Jolliers. 1-1 after the threes the home team went in front as they took the pairs 3-0 to lead 4-1 going in to the singles. Gerwyn Harris made that 5-1 with Iorrie Jones pulling one back for the away side. Bill Sealey put the home side 6-2 in front as he took the next leg but the Jolliers hit back as wins for Preston Richardson, Russell Wilks and Lyndon Phillip made the score 6-5 to set up a last leg decider which Jeff Phillips claimed for the home side for a 7-5 victory to pull six points clear of the drop zone in division one. The other team involved in the relegation battle, the Cabo Kings, had a derby as they took on neighbours and division two leaders the Five Bells. All square after the threes, it was the Bell men who pulled ahead as they took all the pairs to lead 4-1.

Gavin Cawley and Martin Timbrell pulled two back for the Kings men in the opening two singles. A 180 for Dai Smith put the away side 5-3 ahead as he claimed the next leg with Gary Hodgkinson pulling another leg back for the Cabo. A 111 out for Ben Smith and wins for Mark Evans and Mark Keenan wrapped up an 8-4 victory for the Bellmen to put them 16 points clear at the top of division two with four games remaining.

The White Horse moved up to second as they came from behind to draw 6-6 with the Social. Trailing 3-2 after the pairs and threes, the Horse men found them selves 4-2 behind as Chris Packman took the first singles for the Social. Wins for Ken Parry and Dai Amos brought the scores all level at 4-4 and the game went leg for leg as both sides settled for a share of the points.

The other games saw the GWR A lost some ground on the top two in division two as they lost 9-3 away to the Colliers while the GWR B played out a 6-6 draw at home to West House. The final game this week saw the Cabo beat the Coach Drivers 10-2.
