PAUL Brabban shot a superb round of 41 points last week to win a Midweek Stableford event by three points.

He carded a Tutu (twos on holes five and 14) to place alongside further birdies on the sixth and penultimate greens.

Better back-nine led to Lewis Phillips taking second spot with 38 points (birdie on the fourth and 10 pars) from Barrie J Hawkins (three birdies) and Frank Bradshaw, who also went Tutu – his came on the fifth and 10th holes – while he also got a birdie on the sixth green.

Further down the scoreboard came 37-point men G Cox and Graham Harcombe, and par 36 came from young Daniel Jakeway (two on 14, further birdies on holes one and 15 along with 11 pars).
