PAUL Jenkins last Saturday matched par 10 times to win the Bogey Cup with a score of plus two.

Five players then entered the clubhouse with scores of -1 – Patrick O’Connell, Luke Evans, Robert Davies, Wayne Morgan and Gavin Davies.

And on -2 came Gareth Davies along with Steffan Hart.

Meanwhile, Alan Jones, Dave Lawrence and Michael Peters last week combined to shoot 148 Stableford points and win the Senior Section Sculls Yellow Peril at The Grove.

They finished a massive 12 points clear of top driver Tony Allen, Graham Davies and Wyn Jones, and a further 11 points back came John Dacey, hot property Michael Scully and Bob Ralph.

In a club match away to Langland Bay, superb hospitality and a magnificently manicured course greeted Grove Seniors.

And it was the Swansea players who made merry out on the golf course, outshining Grove on the gorgeous greens to take the honours on a 5.5 – 2.5 scoreline.

On the Ladies scene at the South Cornelly club, Beth Lees took Medal Eight with a sizzling 9026-64 that contained five pars.

She finished nine blows clear of Jayne Jones (seven pars in 91-18-73) and Sheila Stubbs (102-27-75).
