Comfortable win for Maesteg Celtic

Nick Poole (21) and Ia Herbert (42) got Celtic off to a good start. Phil Poole and Lindsay Harris (both 16no) saw them home by five wickets in 37.5 overs. Leigh Davies had 10-133-4 for Drefach.

MAESTEG put Cimla in and only a fine 75 not out by Stuart Hornby kkept the innings together and they posted 192-8 off their 50 overs. Aft er a bright start by Andrew King (29) and Lloyd Wilkshire (20) Maesteg lost three quick wickets but Callum Walters (37no) was in good form and the game ended in a draw with Maesteg on 116-5 off 30 overs. Division Five

MAESTEG Celtic Secinds opted to bat and Matthew Rogers (75) and Iwan Jones (43) shared a good partnership and Jordan Richards (22no) and Louis Cirotto (19) chipped in as they reached 182-4 off their 40 overs.
Felinfoel started well with openers Clive Harding (49) and Nicholas Jones (22) doing well. But it all went wrong when they tried to accelerate and they were bowled out for 109.
