Sepsis Trust Fundraiser: A magnificent £500 was raised on July 28 at the Green Hall. Many thanks to the artists who gave freely of their talent and time for this very worthy cause, Chloe Russell, Tanya Smith and her guitarist Tom, Dennis Lang, Irene Blower and the band On the Road Again and to Billy and Sara Evans, Enid Lloyd and Mark Grant for their help on the night.

Many in the audience had been affected by this condition and a representative from the Trust gave a short awareness talk at the beginning of the event.

Jayne Bissmire, whose father had survived the condition and who was in the audience, inspired the evening and expressed her appreciation to all those who took part and attended.
