Outdoor Theatre At Bryngarw: On Wednesday, August 16, Rain or Shine Theatre Company are putting on a production of Shakespeare’s much loved comedy, Twelfth Night at Bryngarw Country Park. The performance begins at 8pm and will continue in all weather. Please bring a low backed chair or a rug.

Parc Calon Lan Visitor Centre: Garw Valley Community Council are pleased to advise that the above mentioned visitor centre will be open at weekends for the remainder of the school holidays, from 10am-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, during which time teas, coffees, snacks, and cold drinks will be made available. watch out for the new changes in band days and times.

Nantymoel RFC Youth: Nantymoel RFC Youth 40th Anniversary Reunion at the clubhouse on the evening Saturday, August 19.
All former players, coaches and committee members who have ever been involved with the Youth team are invited to attend and share memories and anecdotes.
It was great to see former players travelling from far and wide to attend last year and we would encourage you to spread the news of this next event to those who are unlikely to be able to read this article.
Entertainment will be provided during the evening, including comedian Steve Saint and this promises to be another enjoyable evening for all.

Boxing Club: Why not join the Nantymoel Armature Boxing Club every Monday & Wednesday for a Ladies Boxfit.
This is on the following nights from 6pm to 7pm with a charge of £4 each.
Boxing club address is Bethania Row, Ogmore Vale but the entrance is at the back on High Street opposite the NonPol Club.
Outreach Group: Friends of the Outreach Group at Christchurch Chapel, Corbett Street, Ogmore Vale would like to thank everyone for their continued support with their coffee mornings on the last Thursday in every month.
We support different charities each month. Last month it was in aid of the people & children of Yemen who are suffering with
Cholera due to starvation and drinking contaminated water. The amount raised was £517
Ogmore Vale Community Tennis Club: We have two hard courts from which we will be playing social tennis every Tuesday, from 6pm-8pm and Sundays, from 10amnoon throughout the summer.
Social membership for adults is £25, seniors and juniors £15 for the year – this will give you full access to the club at any time. Entry to tournaments is £5.
We welcome all standards and are a relaxed and social group.

Ladies Choir: Ogmore Valley Ladies Choir now have their practice night on Wednesday at Canolfan, Bethlehem, Commercial Street, Ogmore Vale. Starting at 7pm. All are welcome - over 18 years.
Pilates Class: Every Thursday night at 6.15pm at Litchard Mission Church, Litchard, Bridgend.
These are suitable for beginners and intermediate.

Coffee Mornings: Christchurch Chapel Corbett Street, Ogmore Vale hold a coffee morning on Thursday, August 31.
As well as coffee, there will be a cake stall, book stall, china and clothes stalls and not forgetting a raffle etc.

Blackmill Over 50s: Blackmill Over 50s meet at The Local Community Centre on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, always glad to welcome new members.
Nantymoel Knitters: We meet twice a week at Dinam Close every Tuesday and Friday at 10am to Midday.

Following the success of the first event last year, the committee of Nantymoel RFC are delighted to announce that there will be another Youth Team reunion at the clubhouse on Saturday, August 19.
This will take place after the home match scheduled for that day and the event is to mark the 40th anniversary of the formation of the youth team in 1977.
All former players, coaches and committee members who have ever been involved with the Youth team from its inception to date are cordially invited to attend and share memories and anecdotes.

Marie Curie: Bank Holiday sponsored bike ride in memory of Kevin Barry starting at 10 am on Sunday, August 27 from the rear of Cowbridge Town Hall and taking a circular route travelling through or passing Corntown, Ewenny, Ogmore, St Brides Major, Wick, Llantwit Major, St Athan, Llancadle, Bonvilston and back to Cowbridge.
