Fundraising Concert: There will be a Fundraising Concert in Gilgol Baptist Church on Monday, September 11 at 7.30pm when the Porthcawl Welsh Learners’ Choir, together with Cantorion Coety, will join together to raise funds to help those suffering from the effects of the disastrous famine in East Africa.

Côr Disgwyr Porthcawl who have only been together for some six months recently took part in the recent National Eisteddfod and sang their way to third place in their class against a number of much more experienced choirs.

Porthcawl San Sebastion Town Twinning Association: On Monday, September 25 there will be a joint social evening where members of PSSTTA will have the opportunity to meet members from Pencoed and their twinned town Plouzané.

The event will take place the same week as the European Day of Languages and there will be a quiz on the night.

Pencoed will need numbers fairly soon and they have given us a little more information about the event.

The event will take place at the Bryncae Arms, Bryncae CF72 9RP and will start at 7.30pm with guests arriving from 7pm.
