DANNY Woolfenden danced back into the spotlight at Penybont with a four-goal waltz against Llanelli Town in this Southern Division clash at the Kymco Stadium on Sunday, writes Tony Poole.

The Llangynwyd Rangers product, who has been ruled out of late through work commitment­s, got his side’s four second-half goals.

A Joshua Jones cross led to Thomas Davies shooting Bont into a 24th-minute lead and soon after Cefn Cribwr wide man Ioan Clatworthy was on target.

The Dancing Danny show then hit a quick tempo with a goal three minutes into the second half.

He made it 4-0 on 65 minute; fans soon afterwards saluted his hattrick on the end of a Rhys Alden free kick while h e rounded things off with a sublime strike courtesy of a cross from Ben Symons.

In the Ivy Court Cottages Welsh Youth League, Penybont defeated Port Talbot Town, 2-0, at the Kymco Stadium.

With Christmas fast approachin­g, the time was right in the 33rd minute for Nick Ivey to climb on to the scoresheet while Robbie Reagan struck early in the second period.

In the Welsh Veterans Over-45 League, Penybont won 3-2 at Cwmbran after being held to 1-1 at the interval.

Andrew Davies netted either side of half time, but the sides were locked on 2-2 before the Bampy Bonts were grateful to Pe- ter Morgan for producing a late winner.

In the Alun Evans Welsh Women’s Cup, Penybont Ladies bowed out, 5-4, on the grass pitch at the Kymco Stadium to Blackwood side Coed Duon Dragons.

The Bont goals came from Bryony DeMott, Megan Jones, Shona Davies and Sara Jones.
