Coytrahen Drama: Alison Neil, a repeat awardwinner for her series of one women shows, is back at Coytrahen Community Centre to tell the story of E Nesbit in ‘Larks and Magic’ on Friday, February 16 at 7pm. Nesbit was the author of ‘The Railway Children’ ‘Five Children and It’ and is credited as the first modern writer for children. She was also a Fabian Socialist with a bohemian lifestyle who mixed with a range of figures from George Bernard Shaw to Noel Coward. Free entry and a bar will be available. The publicity blurb says “destined to delight audiences wherever she tours” and this has certainly been the case with Alison Neil’s previous efforts.
Smyrna Pen-Y-Fai: The Sunday school would like to invite the children of the surrounding area who are aged four and over to join them on Sunday morning between 10.30am and noon for stories, singing and fun with arts and craft work.
The Sunday service is held at 6pm and is led by Rev Alwyn Evans.
All are very welcome to the service and to join us for refreshments in the vestry afterwards.
Coffee morning is held on Tuesday between 10am-noon with good company and a raffle is also held in aid of local charities.
Bible study takes place on Thursday evening at 7.15pm and is led in turn by Mrs Marlyn James and Miss Dorithy Evans.

Spiritual Healing: Spiritual healing is offered each Tuesday from 6pm-7.30pm at the Ynysawdre Community Centre (at the junction of Bryn Road and Heol-yrYsgol).
There is no charge for the service but a small donation to help defray expenses is appreciated.
