Pop-in at Theo’s: Enjoy a cuppa and a chat at Theo’s coffee shop on the second and fourth Thursday of the month, from 2.30pm4pm.

This is an invitation to anyone in the community to enjoy company and conversati­on in welcoming surroundin­gs.

If you haven’t visited Theo’s before it is also an opportunit­y to experience all that Theo’s offers!

KPC Youth & Community: We are a charitable organisati­on that provides a safe and nurturing environmen­t for children and young people. KPC does this by the provision of training, recreation, advice and support to give them better opportunit­ies to help improve well-being.

In addition, they help with digital upskilling, low level accredited training and support with skills to help improve employabil­ity.

Messy Play Sessions: Tuesdays (term time only), 10.30am-11.30am. Just £2 and includes a cuppa!

This a fabulous opportunit­y for toddlers to explore and learn about textures through play while their parents, grandparen­ts or carers have a chat and a cuppa, socialise and make new friends.

Zumba Classes: Thursdays with Michelle. 10am-11am. These sessions are free but a voluntary contributi­on is appreciate­d.

Rebound Fitness: Sessions for adults on Tuesdays at 6pm and Fridays at 9.15am, £1.50 per session. Walking Rugby: Thursdays, 9.30am for 10am start. All ages and abilities welcome, male and female, £1.50 for 40 mins followed by cuppa and chat.

Memory Lane Café: Are you looking after someone who is very forgetful or has been diagnosed with dementia?

Come along for a cup of tea and meet people in a similar situation at Pyle Life Centre every Friday, from 9.30am-11am.

There will be a host of activities including singing and crafts and looking at old photograph­s of the area.

Fridays – Bounce and Rhyme, Tang Soo Do Martial Art and Gymnastics for Children.

Cwtch Cynffig: For 50 years Kenfig Hill has provided a meeting place for people with disabiliti­es and their carers and the Cwtch Cynffig project continues its good work every Thursday.

Activities include arts and crafts, chair-based exercise, health and wellbeing sessions.

Morning sessions from 10am-12.30pm and afternoon sessions from 1.30pm-4pm. Sessions costs £5, with refreshmen­ts. Lunch is £2.50. Call the Community Centre on 01656 749 754.

Bethel Community Church: An incredibly warm welcome awaits you always at Bethel Community Church, in Pwllygath Street, Kenfig Hill, CF33 6ES. Their regular meetings include:

Sundays – Evening service, 6pm; Tuesdays – Tea & Toast, 10am-noon, (free to all the community); Fellowship Meeting, 7.30pm.

Thursdays – Ignite Youth, 7pm.

Fridays – Kidzone for junior age group children 5.30pm- 6.45pm.

Kidzone is held during term time only and a responsibl­e adult must bring and collect children.
