Police appeal to find three suspects

POLICE investigat­ing an alleged robbery in Tondu are appealing for anyone with informatio­n to come forward.

The alleged victim reported walking along the playing fields near Terfyn Ynysawdre at around 11.20am on Thursday, February 8, when he was approached by three men.

A police spokesman said he was allegedly threatened, thrown to the floor and had property including a wallet, iPhone and a distinctiv­e yellow Adidas watch stolen.

The three men then fled towards the footpath and Aberkenfig village.

All three suspects were described as white and in their late 20s to early 30s.

The first man was described as taller than 5ft 11in, of medium build and clean shaven.

He was wearing blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms with white stripes, a dark blue “puffa” style jacket, and a woolly hat.

The second was around 5ft 11in, of skinny build and with facial stubble and dark, scruffy hair.

He was wearing stonewash jeans, and dark hoody worn up over his head.

The third suspect was slightly shorter than 5ft 11in, of stocky build with facial stubble and shaven brown hair.

He was wearing stonewash jeans and a lightcolou­red hoody.

Anyone who saw people matching these descriptio­ns in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who has any informatio­n is asked to contact police on 101, quoting occurrence 1800048158.
