Third placed Nanty Rug went down 5-4 to the visiting Nanty Inn. The Rug won the pairs 2-1 with wins for Andrew Williams and Roy Nutt and the Johns, Clayton and Collins, who hit a 17-dart leg, while Mark Lewis and Mal Jones replied for the Inn, who then won four singles through Jones, Stu Angove, and dad and pup, Chris and Andrew Hillman, who both drove in 180s. With brothers Andrew and Wade Williams pulling two back for the Rug.

Kurt Parry and Mal Fenwick, and Tex Reynolds and Josh Williams got them on their way in the pairs, with Clive Carpy and Dai Frowen replying for the Con, then they shared the singles with Williams, who “joshed” a 180, Parry, and Reynolds winning for the Junction, and Rob shop, Dai Davies and Carpy for the Con.in the game between Reynolds and Jeff Raynor, Tex won the game, however, Jeff won the “sparring” on a split decision.

The big game next week is the clash between the Vetz and Garw Rug in a game that could well decide where the title will be going this year.
