Blaengarw R.F.C. Tribute Night: On Saturday, March 24 at Blaengarw Rugby Club, there will be a ‘Friends of the Garw Valley’ reunion evening where players, wives, and friends will pay homage to one of the valley’s famous sons, Mr Ike Owens, by dedicating the lounge at Blaengarw R.F.C. to his memory.

Entertainment for the evening is from outstanding Welsh comedian Colin Price, supported by the Dai and Kim Burnett road show. There will also be a grand raffle and buffet, with all proceeds on the night being donated to a charity chosen by Mr Ike Owen’s family. Easter Celebrations: Garw Valley Links Community Church invite you to their Easter Celebrations on Sunday, April 1 at 11am in His Place, next to SPAR, Oxford Street, Pontycymmer and in Blaengarw Community Centre for an Easter Tea at 5.15pm followed by our Easter service at 6pm.
