It’s obvious why Cameron quit

WHEN people voted in the EU referendum, the leave campaign said if the country voted “no” we wouldn’t pay a penny to the EU towards a divorce bill – in reality we will.

They said after we leave we would not pay any annual contributi­on, now Britain will still be paying off Theresa May’s £37bn Brexit bill in 2064, with £2.5bn of pension liabilitie­s for Ukip and other MEPs’ pensions.

They also said that we can control immigratio­n, that is until we make trade deals with China, India and other middle Eastern countries and the UK is forced to allow more people from those countries in.

Did the leavers vote for such a mess? Now we know why Cameron left.
