EVER fancied taking your dog for some afternoon tea?

Well, now you can – because a hotel in Bridgend has designed a menu especially for your canine companions.

Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel is about to start serving Doggy Afternoon Tea – and it even includes a glass of (ahem) “Pawsecco” or a doggy beer!

Claiming to be one of the only places in the UK serving up the treat, the hotel will be launching their doggy menu on Monday.

It includes a number of canine snacks, which come served on a traditional afternoon tea cake tier – except with doggy bowls instead of the usual plates.

The idea has already become a hit after details were posted on Facebook, gaining thousands of shares, likes and comments from dog-lovers across the country.

The Doggy Afternoon Tea includes bacon and peanut butter bone biscuits and frozen banana and yogurt paw pops; chicken and beef meatloaf; and salmon and sweet potato brownies.

The tea also comes with a bottle of still white Pawsecco “wine” – which is described as a specialised blend of elderflower, nettle, ginseng and lime flower and has been created with the advice of veterinary experts.

If that doesn’t whet their appetite, then there’s also a bottle of Bottom Sniffer Beer For Dogs. (Disclaimer – they don’t actually include real alcohol.)
